Setting up and configuring LOQMail Private Email
for Windows Live Mail

Manual Setup Steps:
Before configuring LOQMail Private Email for Windows Live, be sure that you already have a Private Email Account and that you download and install the LOQMail Client onto the computer.
Download and Install the LOQMail Client
  • Open Windows Live Mail and select Tools > Accounts (from the tool bar)
  • Select Add > Email Account then click Next
  • Fill in the following information when prompted …
    • My incoming mail server is a POP3 server
    • Incoming mail (POP3): 127.0.0.1
    • Outgoing mail (SMTP): 127.0.0.1
    • E-mail username: name@domain.extension
    • Server requires authentication - same as incoming

To complete the setup process you can send a private email message to yourself from and to your private email account.
