Mac Quick Start Guide

This Quick Start Guide will give you the few quick steps to exchanging private email. Once you are up and running, you can use separate private folders for your private email, and enable other LOQMail features.

In larger enterprises with firewalls or proxies, some additional port setup may require minimal help from your IT support group. Installation:

• Download the LOQMail Client
  This will download LOQMail to your computer and launch the LOQMail Installer (Accept User License Agreement when prompted)
• Launch the LOQMail Installer

To automatically start LOQMail whenever you log in:

• Open the pop‐up menu for the Q symbol on the Dock and choose Open at Login

Configure Mac Mail:

• Open Mail by clicking the icon on the Dock and click File to choose Add Account.

• Administer LOQMail by opening the LOQMail menu with a right click on the Q symbol in the menu bar at the top

Sending Your First Private Email:

• Start by launching Mac Mail – Select 'New'
• Select Private Email Account
• Send your first private email to your own private email address
• Compose a test email message (and attach documents)
• Click on 'Send' That’s it !

Your private email and attachments will be sent – safely encrypted – with no further work from you. You have successfully installed LOQMail, and sent your first private email
Note: Mac Mail helps you manage your private and public email by setting up separate private folders.
