George Sidman, Chairman and Chief Technology Architect
George Sidman is a proven entrepreneur with a 27-year track record in launching
and growing successful software and Internet companies. He has prior successful
experience as the founder of five other technology start-ups, and as the
founder, Architect, and developer of two sports facilities. He has participated
in private and public offerings, and is experienced in leading high technology
development teams and product-to-market software successes. He is a recognized
authority on complex large-scale object databases, computer-based Intellectual
Property management, and a public speaker on emerging computer and security
technologies.
His technology experience spans large-scale library and information automation,
commercial ISP services, and Internet security and privacy technologies.
He is the inventor of the WebLOQ technology, participates on the company’s
management team and provides leadership for technology innovation.
Neal Smith, President and Chief Executive Officer
Neal has over 30 years of professional management, marketing and sales
experience and a solid technology background. He has participated in the
startup, financing and management of several Internet and software companies.
Neal’s career spans 11 years at IBM in management, sales and training positions
and management at Wang Laboratories, Phillips Information Systems and Hexxis
Corporation.
Between 1987 and 1996 Neal was involved in starting and managing a number
of golf and ski resort development enterprises including Senior VP of Marketing
and Sales at Snowbird Corporation, Managing Director of Pisa International,
Inc., President of Private Clubs International in Tokyo, Japan, and as
the U.S. Managing Director of the Gary Player Club. Prior to participating
in the founding of WebLOQ, Neal was President and CEO of Virtual Visits,
Inc., the premier on-line multimedia Web Site developer for many of the
nation’s most recognized golf resorts, spas, ski resorts and real estate
communities, and a sales consultant to Internet companies.
Jerry Williams, VP and Chief Financial Officer
Jerry Williams has more than thirty year’s management background in finance, manufacturing, and international business. He has held positions as President, CFO, Treasurer and Director of Finance and Planning at numerous companies including Xerox, Nitron, Inc. – McDonnell Douglas, Dataproducts Corp., BDS Computer Corp., etc. His experience spans from Fortune 100 companies to start-ups and turnaround operations in high technology and telecommunications. His skills include a hands-on approach to business problem solving in multi-national and multi-divisional companies. Major areas of emphasis include Financial Forecasting, Strategic Business Planning, Business Modeling and Fiscal Management, LBO Structuring and Asset Liquidations.
Jerry’s professional associations have included the Silicon Valley Association of Startup Entrepreneurs and the California Association of School Business Officials (CASBO). He is Certified as a Chief Business Official (CBO), CASBO 2003, and has been a Part-time Adjunct Professor at the Institute for Management and International Entrepreneurship, California State University - Monterey Bay.
Jerry holds an MBA degree in Finance & Marketing, and a Bachelor of Science degree In Industrial Management; both from the University of Southern California
